Maylim Hold a Health and Safety ‘Stand Down’ With a New Approach

Maylim recently held its first health and safety company ‘stand down’ conference of the year. All Maylim sites were shut down for the afternoon. Staff focused on health and safety values, culture, performance and standards for the remainder of the day. We were delighted to have AKT Productions host the first half of the meeting. They performed a thought-provoking play followed by an interactive workshop focusing on the impact of human behaviours regarding site safety. Then, an open forum enabled all team members to present their thoughts, ideas and feedback. We ended the afternoon with the first-ever Maylim Project Awards. This was an opportunity to celebrate the fantastic achievements of our employees and project teams over the last year. The stand down was a great success, and we have had much positive feedback from many members of the team who attended.
