Maylim is delighted to have been the subject of a recent award by London Bus for the manhole improvement works within Victoria Coach Station. The project will bring to four the number of successfully negotiated contracts through London Bus, whom we have worked with closely over the past two years. The project is brief but demanding, running for 3 weeks within the busy arrivals & departure sites of the station.
The scope has evolved from exploratory works carried out by Maylim to identify existing manholes which have become damaged & inaccessible through increased vehicular activity and failings in previous construction methods. A dual gang team has been tasked with carrying out the associated traffic management, existing manhole cover removal, subsequent reinstatement & manhole cover replacement.
The challenging environment looks set to test Maylim planning and preparation as they strive to deliver to a client whereby previous excellence, such as on projects like Golders Green station must be matched and exceeded.
