Maylim Limited win £2.1m Merchant Square Hard landscaping project

Maylim Limited is pleased to announce the award of the £2.1mHard Landscaping Project at Merchant Square, Paddington. European Land, the developer behind the well known Paddington Basin scheme with Phase 1 completed and occupied, now home to names such as Orange and Marks & Spencer continues with the first two buildings of Merchant Square (phase 2).

Merchant Square is the final piece in the Paddington Basin redevelopment, set within a high quality public realm with a major new canal side square as its focal point as well as providing new shops and restaurants for nearby residents and the local community. A series of permanently moored business and retail barges will bring commercial activity to the water space.

Maylim limited following its long relationship with Townshend Landscape Architects and some keys members of the clients team will carry out detailed design and construction of all the external works, hard & soft landscaping and associated electrical, canal works, street furniture and highway alterations
This superb public realm sees us procuring all the stone from Portugal with bespoke stainless steel drainage from Ireland. The first phase of This Public realm project is due to be completed in December 2010 with future phases programmed for 2011 onwards.
