Maylim are delighted to confirm appointment as main contractor for the proposed 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami memorial which will be sited at The National History Museum. Our client, Tsunami Support UK (TSUK) today revealed the design for a memorial for the UK victims of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami back in October 2010. The single granite monolith will be sited in the Darwin Centre garden at the Natural History Museum thanks to a £550,000 grant from the Department of Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS). It is expected to be completed during the summer of 2011. We are delighted to be workings with the TSUK along with its design team made up of M3 Consulting, Carmody Groake and Miller Druck. We are expected to start work on site during April 2011
