Maylim Limited, having been successfully been awarded the new Regeneration Project at fish Hill Square Royston, with a start date planned for mid June. This 12 week contract valued at over £300k will see this contract as the 1st to be carried out for our new the client at North Herts District Council, but continues our relationship with the Main Architects BDP.
Councillor Tom Brindley, NHDC’s portfolio holder for planning, transport and enterprise, said: “I want to thank everyone for their patience while this enhancement to the square takes place. “Once the work is complete, the improvements will benefit everyone who lives and works in Royston, as well as visitors to the town.“The work in Fish Hill Square has been funded by the Growth Area Fund, money that comes from central government to support this kind of project. “We are confident that this enhancement to Royston town centre will lead to further investment in the town.”
Our works will include the procurement and placement of granite from China to create new paved areas including a new seating area enhanced with new architectural lighting, seating and soft landscaping and a new sculpture to embrace the concept and design by BDP. The works are planned for completion early October.
