Maylim Limited has been awarded the £550,000 project for the Regeneration of Douglas Way, Deptford. The Project, where Maylim Ltd will act as Main Contractor, is due to start on the 4th January 2011 with a completion programme of 12 weeks. The project is Maylim Ltd’s first project for the London Borough of Lewisham, with BDP as the main Landscape Architect for the project. The works will involve the complete reconstruction of the area of Douglas Way, incorporating the market area of Deptford, and reconstruction the area with a mixed beige/Pink/Silver Grey granite finish and associated lighting, soft landscaping and seating areas and all the associated street furniture, shrub areas and tree planting that surround the Albany Centre. The works will involve close logistics and co-ordinating of the local live market traders.
