399 Edgware Road

399 is a large modern mixed-use development by property regeneration specialist U+I.

Overview

This new residential space consists of five apartment blocks and a number of beautiful townhouses. Maylim were contracted to complete the newly landscaped surroundings by property developer U+I, working for principal contractor RISE.

With an external works package spanning across 3250m2, Maylim's remit included: the installation of drainage mat, sub base, slot drainage, void former and insulation. Hard landscaping involved concrete work, pedestal paving and brickwork.

We also completed works for the children’s playground area. The space is filled with a wide selection of play furniture and a vibrant rubber crumb safety surface has been laid.

At the opposite end of the scheme there are steps leading up to a mezzanine terrace. The perimeters of the AstroTurf lawned gardens are edged with glass balustrades. Timber benches were also installed, creating a comfortable area for socialising.

Back at ground level, our project team installed lamp columns and CCTV systems to the walkways and front of the properties. Other key features include: metal railings, timber fencing, handrails, retractable bollards and cycle stands. Section 278 works were completed to the site entrance as well as traffic island construction.
