- As part of this superb mixed use development by Telford and designed by Herzog & de Meuron, Maylim Ltd working alongside the Telford Homes management team and their supply chain partners, completed all the external works including all the highway works to the surrounding roads along Creekside, Creek Road and Copperas street.
- Maylim’s work included the close co-ordination and development of the design with the Landscape Architect Squire & Partners, to the main plaza areas and public realm areas of the Development. Working closely with the architects, we detailed designed the full landscape, including co-ordinating all the soft landscaping, electrical, lighting, railings, water features in association with the 3500sqm of imported Granite paving .
- The works also saw the detailed design; procurement and installation of the superbly sharp honed granite planters that sub divide the sweeping plaza areas in preparation for the future Cafe and commercial areas within the development.
- This tough challenging 12 week contract working with the waterproofing contractor Knights, developed to include the full highways works to the boundary of the site, including assisting the Utility teams on lowering services to allow the construction of all entrance crossovers, lay-bys and reconstruction of all footways.
- As part of the hard landscaping package, we designed bespoke and installed all the architectural facade drainage by Kent Stainless, bespoke slot drainage, stainless steel bespoke feature lines and all associated street furniture such as bollards, cycle stands and anti skate board studs to the cladded features.
- Maylim again working along its long term partner Miller Druck, have now completed phase 1, with successful handover completed on time in September 2010. This excellent Sharp and superbly designed landscaping has already been part of a HSBC award received by Telford and its teams for the superb quality of built at the development.
