- As part of the development of Tishman Speyer’s new commercial development at The Fleet Way Farringdon, London. Maylim Limited in co-ordination with Transport for London’s Streets team completed this Footway & Highway alteration and refurbishment of the area of paving along Farringdon Road and to the entrance of this newly refurbished Office Building.
- The works completed in 5 weeks, with restrictions on daily traffic management in accordance to TFL’s 4 hour working time on the carriageway, enabled Tishman Speyer the confidence that Maylim Limited could take full responsibility of the development of the detail, co-ordination with the TFL’s streets team and ensure that all the statutory authorities were coordinated and communicated with, while the works were carried out.

- The works saw full excavation of the footways with site clearance and excavation all carried out by hand while working around a typical London utility packed street. The works also hindered by the existence of the building basements ensured that excavation by hand was always to be completed with the utmost care.
- The pavement was then completed with concrete sub strata and finished with a 63mm yokstone paving in accordance to TFL’s street works manual.
- This very short programme again showed the flexibility and care that our teams embrace while working in a very busy London Street environment while working with our trusted paving supply chain partner Miller Druck.
