- This project was the full ground works and external works package to the New Islington Academy based not far from Holloway Road. Mace Plus was the Main contractor here and had to complete the project in various phases over numerous school terms ensuring the Academy remained open throughout the construction periods.
- This of course made logistics challenging, enhanced by the minor access points to the site from small urban roads.

- Our package included the full civils and groundworks and all associated drainage to the play areas, courtyards, entrances & highway footways/carriageways on the boundary of the Academy. The package of works also included the installation of perimeter galvanised bespoke security fencing, construction of boundary concrete brick clad retaining walls and completed with bespoke handrails.
- Maylim Ltd’s work also extended to preparation works to the granite entrance steps, to the elevated timber decking, all soft landscaping areas and to the 2 play areas completed in safer surfacing by Sureset.
- This extremely challenging programme was completed on time as per Mace Plus’s requirements and handed over in accordance to the Academies PC dates ready for start of the New Year term.
