Located at the heart of the Deptford Landings, The Timberyard is the first of six new residential developments.
Overview
The development has been built around a new linear park. Spanning the length of the buildings our team installed The Waterline; a 50m long architectural pre-cast concrete water feature, designed to replicate the movement of the former Grand Surrey Canal. Timber foot bridges span the rill channel and provide access to the grassy banks of the water stream.
Remaining at ground level our team completed railings to the townhouses, pre-cast concrete footpaths, resin-bound gravel pathways, full road construction works and the soft landscaping scheme.
The vision for this project was for all residents to have access to a private outside space, or shared green areas. At level one, private courtyard gardens lead to a large communal roof garden. Timber fencing has been installed around the perimeters, as well as planters and benches in breakout areas. Central to the podium is a lush mounded lawn with children’s play equipment.
