- As part of the Westfield White City Development, Maylim Ltd, as part of the Skanska infrastructure Services Team, completed with its supply chain partners the full external works to the development to a value exceeding £21m. This fast track, logistically challenging site, with numerous access and co-ordination issues saw the successful opening of this iconic shopping centre, on time, in October 2008.
- As part of the works, Maylim Ltd carried out the full groundworks and external works package to the 3 sides of the Building incorporating the highway entrance works on Aerial Way & Eastern Access Road, the new bus station terminal and car park entrances and the Wood Lane footway and landscaping works incorporating the new Hammersmith and City Line LUL station protection screen at Wood Lane 10B.

- Our package included the full co-ordination of building the works ensuring the non disturbance of the 300 lorry movements daily into the centre during the fit out stages, and this close co-ordination with other trades enabled our works to be completed in an agreed phased fashion which meant out of hours works and large acceleration towards the end of the project.
- Maylim Ltd’s workforce integrated again with Miller Druck’s high class paving completed all the reinforced concrete sub strata including the numerous double curveture concrete retaining walls ensuring that the accuracy was in place to receive the high class granite finishings.
- Our works involved the complete construction of all the curved planters and steps along Wood Lane and up to the Eat Street landings allowing for the accuracy for the integrated granite, soft landscaping and lighting works to be placed with the close co-ordination that it deserved.
- Complementing all the works, we installed all the street furniture including all the stainless steel handrails and associated cycle stands, waste bins and bus shelters.
