Harcourt Street, Dublin, Ireland: Wins Contractor of the Year
Maylim Awarded Contractor of the Month for Harcourt Street, Dublin.
We are excited to share that just before Christmas, for Harcourt Square, our project in Dublin, Maylim was awarded Contractor of the Month by John Paul Construction. Receiving this recognition just before the Christmas break was a fantastic way to close out 2025, especially as our team had only been on site since mid‑August.
Over an intense four‑month programme, our team delivered a significant package of public realm and terrace works across the development. The scale and pace of delivery reflect the dedication, collaboration and high standards that define the Maylim Way in construction projects.

Delivering 14 Roof Terraces
Across the upper levels of Harcourt Square, we completed 14 roof terraces, including:
- 1600m² of granite paving on pedestals
- 500 linear metres of powder‑coated planter edging
- 14 integrated timber benches
- 450m³ of soil
- 43 trees
- 3,142 plants
- 2,543 bulbs
These terraces will provide high‑quality outdoor spaces for future occupants, combining robust construction with carefully considered planting and detailing.
Ground & Lower Ground Works
Our team also delivered extensive works at ground and lower‑ground level, including:
- 1700m² of private and public paving
- Full breakout of existing works, grading and concreting
- 210m of granite kerbing, including 30m of heritage kerbing
- 550m² of limestone cladding and 150m of limestone coping
- 150m of stainless‑steel slot drain
- 180m³ of soil
These works form a key part of the public realm and arrival experience at Harcourt Square, delivered to the highest standards despite the tight programme of construction.

A Commitment to SHEQ and Collaboration
One of the key reasons for receiving this award was our team’s constant positive attitude toward safety, aligning with John Paul’s Work Safe, Home Safe ethos. Working in a live environment with regular public interface and multiple contractors required careful coordination and a proactive approach to risk management during construction activities.
Our teams demonstrated professionalism and diligence every day, ensuring that progress never came at the expense of safety.
Celebrating the Team and Our Supply Chain
This achievement belongs to everyone involved. A huge thank you to our site team for their hard work, commitment and collaboration. Their effort is a true reflection of what the Maylim Way stands for: quality, teamwork and pride in delivery.
We also want to recognise our supply chain partners, who consistently went above and beyond to keep materials flowing even in construction, especially when we needed them “tomorrow”. Their reliability and responsiveness were essential to meeting the programme.
Looking Ahead
Harcourt Square has been a standout project for Maylim in Ireland, and this award is a testament to the strength of our team and the relationships we build on every project. We look forward to continuing our work with John Paul Construction and delivering more exceptional public realm and commercial landscape projects and construction in Ireland and the UK.
