This achievement is especially meaningful as Wilton Park was Maylim’s first project in Ireland — a milestone that has since led to three further projects. It also marks our first BALI Award win in Ireland, underscoring the impact of our work and the trust placed in us by our client and owner, IPUT Real Estate.

Heritage Meets Innovation in Dublin

Wilton Park reconnects the city with its literary and civic heritage while creating a vibrant, future‑focused public realm. The scheme balances respect for history with contemporary design and sustainability, offering spaces that enrich biodiversity and community life.

Project Highlights

  • Roof Terrace Gardens: Spanning Levels 4–7, with granite paving, mature trees, automated irrigation, and tiered amphitheatre seating.
  • Street-Level Features: A 150‑jet interactive water feature, pocket park, and restored Victorian park with a refurbished historic fountain.
  • Biodiversity Boost: More than 30 trees and 1,200 shrubs enhance ecological value and urban greening.
  • Sustainability: Integrated irrigation systems and thoughtful design ensure long‑term resilience and environmental responsibility.

Recognition

The judges praised Wilton Park as an “outstanding scheme demonstrating multi‑skill excellence.” Irish developers specifically sought a BALI member for civil engineering and landscaping expertise, overcoming major construction and logistical challenges to deliver this transformative project.

We are proud to acknowledge Kevin Mahony, Project Manager and Maylim’s man on the ground in Ireland, whose leadership and dedication were instrumental in delivering this award‑winning scheme.

Looking Ahead

Wilton Park stands as a testament to Maylim’s ability to deliver complex, multi‑layered projects that respect heritage while embracing innovation. As our first project in Ireland – and our first Bali Award win there – it represents both a proud achievement and a foundation for future success. We are honoured to have contributed to Dublin’s evolving urban landscape alongside IPUT Real Estate, and excited to continue building on this momentum with further projects across Ireland.
