New Project: St Helen’s Square for British Land

Situated in the heart of the City, St Helen’s Square will serve as a multi-functional yet aesthetically pleasing public realm. Maylim is excited to commence work on this prestigious project as Principal Contractor.

Maylim’s remit includes both hard and soft landscaping and design and build. There will also be a complex lighting scheme comprising projection lighting across the square to enhance the space at night. The project is set to be logistically challenging, as the existing 1960s structure will need to be retained and worked around.

The design by Gillespies is contemporary, with a nod towards traditional London to maintain the character and charm. Once completed, the square will serve as London’s third-largest open space, accommodating a variety of activities and exhibitions.
