International Quarter London Project Awarded by Lendlease

This month sees Maylim begin work on phase one of the International Quarter London (IQL) development in Stratford.

The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park has gone from strength to strength since London held the games in 2012. Redevelopment in the area has seen a rapid increase, and the International Quarter London is set to create London’s newest business district and neighbourhood.

Maylim will complete the externals for this large-scale development. The hard landscaping includes the use of high-quality Indian sandstone. The paving has an unusual and complex design that fits with the modern architecture of the surrounding buildings.

Bespoke water features will tranquilise the busy atmosphere, and various soft landscaping elements will see many green spaces developed across the quarter. This aligns with the promise of greener and more environmentally friendly surroundings for Londoners.
