Team Spotlight. Niamh Bonner, SHEQ Manager

We’re absolutely delighted to have welcomed Niamh Bonner to the team as our new SHEQ Manager. Niamh supports project teams across the UK and the Republic of Ireland, helping maintain the highest standards of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality throughout every stage of delivery.

Reflecting on her role, Niamh shared: “Through regular site inspections, audits and engagement with operational teams and supply chain partners, I help monitor compliance, drive quality standards, identify areas for improvement, and support teams in delivering projects safely and to a high standard while embedding the Maylim Way values across our operations.”

Before joining Maylim, Niamh worked as a Senior EHS professional for a main contractor in Ireland, overseeing safety functions across the Leinster region on projects ranging from €500,000 to €28 million. She has extensive experience onboarding new starters, graduates, and placement students, and has presented at the Irish National Construction Summit.

Niamh is passionate about increasing female visibility in construction and promoting mental‑health awareness across the industry. As she explains: “I am passionate about increasing female visibility and representation within the construction industry, as well as mental‑health awareness.”

Outside of work, Niamh enjoys binge‑watching reality TV and hiking with her pup, Cooper.
