This month, we’re proud to feature Carmen Popovici, recently promoted to Senior Document Controller. Carmen’s passion, work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to our Maylim Way values have made her stand out as one of our high performers. As part of our SHEQ Team, she plays a critical role in managing the flow of information between our clients, designers, and supply chain partners ensuring our projects run smoothly and successfully.

Here’s our Q&A with Carmen.

How long you’ve been with Maylim.

I’ve been with Maylim for the last three years.

Tell us about your role at Maylim.

I joined as a Document Controller and was recently promoted to Senior Document Controller.

I play a key role in managing project documents such as drawings and specifications, ensuring accuracy, version control, and compliance with our standards

I collaborate closely with our Project Managers, Designers, Engineers, and Site Teams to ensure timely delivery and distribution of critical documents and information.

I also support the wider SHEQ Team by maintaining audit readiness and supporting quality assurance processes.

Tell us more about your background, expertise, or passions.

With nine years of document control experience, I specialise in maintaining precise records, optimising workflows, and ensuring smooth communication between project teams. I’m passionate about improving processes, maintaining high standards of organisation, and supporting project teams effectively.

Tell us something fun about yourself.

Something fun about me is that I love spending time with my friends, whether it’s going on adventures to the mountains, swimming, or just enjoying the outdoors together. I’m always up for an active day and a good laugh.

Outside of work, what do you enjoy most?

Outside of work I love anything that gets me moving, I like playing tennis, going to the gym and taking long walks in the woods, I also enjoy going to the cinema and restaurants.
