Centrepoint Garden Transformed at Great Portland Estates Community Day

Maylim was honoured to support Great Portland Estates Community Day this year. The annual community day supports local communities and Great Portland Estates charity partners, Centrepoint and Bankside Open Spaces Trust.

Great Portland Estates reached out to Maylim in line with our work on the landscape scheme at the 70/88 Oxford Street & 1 Newman Street project. We were delighted to manage the community project at Centrepoint’s The Heights, in Northholt. Our team provided materials, tools and expertise to transform the garden; working with over 15 volunteers from Great Portland Estates.

Tasks included planting a memorial tree, installing a memorial bench and plaque, and various improvements to the garden.

Talking about the completed works, Ekwa Senghor, Service Manager at The Heights, said: “I just wanted to say a huge thank you for all the planning and hard work that went into the garden. It looks absolutely amazing and the YP’s and staff are so touched. Thank you again”.
