Works Underway at Morello, East Croydon

Maylim has recently commenced work at Morello, a £350m regeneration scheme close to East Croydon station.

The project has turned an underdeveloped and largely derelict site into an innovative and sustainable mixed-use solution that integrates with and regenerates East Croydon and its surroundings.

The development offers hundreds of new homes but also includes 18,000sq ft of retail and commercial space. The landscaping and new public realm make up 35% of the scheme. The commitment to providing more green space sets a benchmark for placemaking in the urban environment.

Split into two phases, Maylim is leading the landscape construction at Morello, including the residential gardens and communal spaces across the scheme at various levels.

With works progressing well, the project will be completed in summer 2023.
