Time To Talk Day 2020

Thursday 6th February was Time to Talk Day 2020. Maylim’s Head of HSEQ Chris Hall, and Marketing Manager Frankie Patman visited some of our live projects to start the conversation on mental health.

The Building Mental Health toolbox talk was delivered at the start of each session. This is an interactive and engaging presentation, that discusses both good and bad mental health and the different effects it can have on us as individuals.

Following the toolbox talk, there was a group discussion where the teams spoke about their thoughts and perceptions in regard to mental health. We also discussed what makes us happy and what we can do to help reduce the stigma of talking about mental health in the workplace.

The day was very positive and some important conversations were made. It was fantastic to see the everyone getting involved, working together and embracing the topic.
