Triumph at Pro Landscaper Sustainability & Biodiversity Awards with Exchange Square

Maylim celebrates success at the Pro Landscaper Sustainability and Biodiversity Awards for the Exchange Square scheme. The project was crowned the winner in the Commercial Build Project Category.

Launched to celebrate and honour the industry’s most sustainable companies and projects, the Pro Landscaper Sustainability and Biodiversity Awards recognise excellence and innovation in landscaping practices. The Exchange Square scheme stood out as an exemplary project, earning Maylim this prestigious award.

Exchange Square, designed by DSDHA, is a unique place for people and nature in the heart of the City of London. As Principal Contractor for the project, Maylim led the delivery of the scheme. Working together with the client British Land, Stace and Greengage Environmental, sustainability and innovation were carefully considered to ensure excellent results throughout the project’s construction.

The announcement and award ceremony took place at FutureScape on Wednesday, 22nd November, where Maylim was also exhibiting. The judges commented, ” There is a lot to like about this project. But what particularly made It stand out from the other entries was its committed use of third-party accreditations and good industry practice to show quality control and quality assurance around climate and nature impact. The design and delivery are high-end for this new public space, with every detail very well executed”.

This award is a testament to everyone involved in the Exchange Square scheme. Collaborating to achieve the same sustainability goals for this project played a pivotal role in this achievement.
