Exchange Square is a finalist at the Surface Design Awards 2023

Exchange Square has been announced as a Surface Design Awards 2023 finalist within the Landscape and Public Realm category, submitted in partnership with DSDHA.

The Surface Design Awards recognise and celebrate the best use of innovative surface materials in architecture and design internationally. This year, 43 projects from 10 countries have been selected as finalists within the 11 award categories.

A bespoke and unique pallet of materials was used across the 1.5-acre Exchange Square scheme, completed in December 2021. The public realm combines Comblanchien Limestone and Terrazzo to create large paved areas and raised planters. The amphitheatre provides plenty of seating areas and incorporates a cascading water feature.

The winners will be announced at the presentation ceremony on Thursday, 9 February 2023, at the Surface Design Show.
