Pro Landscaper’s 30 Under 30: The Next Generation 2022

Pro Landscaper has revealed the winners of this year’s 30 Under 30: The Next Generation, in association with Green-tech. Maylim is proud to announce that Senior Engineer Umut Guzeller is one of this year’s winners!

The initiative recognises those aged 30 and under making incredible contributions to the landscaping industry. It covers various sectors, including garden design, landscape construction, grounds maintenance, landscape architecture, sales and services.

Umut joined the industry as an apprentice when he was 17, and with ambition and drive, he has successfully developed his career. Umut was promoted to Senior Engineer in July this year and has no plans to stop there!

Speaking of his career journey, Umut commented, ‘The industry has allowed me to build and shape the career I want, something I didn’t think was achievable when I was a teenager. I have broken through many barriers, which makes me love what I do even more.‘

‘Landscaping and infrastructure are crucial to everyone’s future. Unfortunately, its impact is not recognised as much as it deserves. I aspire to help this change by sharing my knowledge and story with younger generations. I want to encourage more people to think about a career in landscaping. An opportunity to make a difference and a chance to change the future of our environment.’
