Bishops Square Receives ‘Excellent’ CCS Score
Maylim continues demonstrating its commitment to observing the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) Core Code checklist. After a site visit to our Bishops Square scheme, the project received an ‘Excellent’ score of 15/15 for each checklist section – Respect the Community, Care for the Environment and Value their Workforce.
The monitor report noted a high degree of environmental management and publication of both responsibility and results, with a realisation that long-term employment is the key to continued success by encouraging staff to partake in well-being and community activities and committing to individual development reviews and ongoing training. The report also commented on the high degrees of safety and high-quality welfare accommodation.
Maylim is always open to new innovative products and initiatives to improve best practice. The project team is currently trialling hydraulic saws and a form of non-explosive demolition to reduce dust and noise.
Congratulations to the Bishops Square Project Team for achieving this excellent score!
