ISO 45001 Accreditation Acquired for Health & Safety

45001

During 2018 Maylim commenced the journey of refining their health and safety management system, known as ‘The Maylim Way’. This included the revision of our health and safety operating procedures along with the introduction of company-wide health and safety standards. Combined with our ‘5 Steps to Working Safely’, the system aims to provide a consistent level of health and safety standards across all of our business operations.

This consistent manner was introduced with the aim of achieving ISO:45001 for Maylim’s business operations. At the end of 2018, Maylim underwent stringent audits by BSI, our accrediting body, to assess Maylim’s health and safety standards and culture.

In January 2019, BSI confirmed that Maylim had met the requirements of ISO:45001. We are extremely proud to announce that the Maylim health and safety management system is now accredited to the ISO:45001 standard.

Chris Hall, Maylim Head of HSEQ commented: “this is a great achievement for Maylim and is recognition for our staff who work hard to deliver projects to the highest health and safety standards. By achieving the ISO:45001 accreditation, we can deliver our projects safely whilst providing a framework for our teams to follow. Combined with our ‘5 Steps to Working Safely’ we ensure that we deliver our projects without injury or illness to our staff, supply chain partners and other stakeholders.”
