The Courtyard, Greenwich Square

The Courtyard at Greenwich Square is a new residential development of 325 apartments, all set around a beautiful garden.

Overview

Mace contracted Maylim to complete the external works package for The Courtyard at Greenwich Square. We were delighted to continue working in Greenwich after recently completing various projects at the Peninsula.

The picturesque courtyard spans 2500m2 and features breakout areas, pergolas and lush planting. Maylim’s remit included the installation of Yorkstone paved walkways, artificial turf, resin-bound footpaths, and a children’s play area with play equipment and a rubber crumb safety surface. Blockwork-rendered walls were constructed to form raised planters completing balcony perimeters for the ground-level apartments. Semi-mature trees and herbaceous planting fill large planters, creating a welcoming green space for residents to enjoy.

Our scope of works also incorporated the landscaping for the external perimeters of the development. The project team installed granite kerbs and tarmac surfacing, and concrete paved footways were laid to form new entrances to the building. We also completed linear drainage, retaining walls, access steps and resident parking bays.
