Two Maylim Talents Among Pro Landscaper 30 Under 30 Class of 2024
We are thrilled to announce that two members of the Maylim team, Tom Carter and Lucas Schofield, have been recognised in this year’s prestigious Pro Landscaper 30 Under 30: The Next Generation awards. This accolade honours the brightest and most promising young talent in the landscaping industry, celebrating their dedication, innovation, and leadership.
Tom Carter
Tom joined Maylim three years ago after graduating with first-class honours in civil engineering from Greenwich University. In less than a year, Tom was promoted from Assistant Site Engineer to Site Engineer, playing an instrumental role in delivering some of Maylim’s key projects. Beyond his engineering expertise, Tom’s commitment to the company shines. He is always one of the first to put himself forward for charitable initiatives and has recently started mentoring new graduate engineers.
Reflecting on his achievement, Tom expressed his gratitude: “It’s a privilege to be part of such an inspiring group of young professionals shaping the future of landscaping. I look forward to celebrating with everyone at FutureScape.”
Lucas Schofield
Lucas has quickly made an impact since joining Maylim as a Site Engineer. His first project, Regent’s Place, saw him play a pivotal role in its successful delivery. The project went on to earn a highly coveted BALI Principal Award. Lucas is passionate about making his mark on the landscaping industry, focusing on innovative and sustainable design as he advances his career.
On receiving news of his 30 Under 30 award, Lucas said: “Thank you to Pro Landscaper and Green-tech for the recognition. Also, thank you to all the talented people at Maylim for your continuous support. Your guidance has been invaluable to my personal and professional growth.”
We couldn’t be prouder of Tom and Lucas for their outstanding achievements and contributions to both Maylim and the wider landscaping industry.
