Maylim Commences Works at Oxford North
Maylim is excited to announce that the team has commenced work on-site at the highly anticipated Oxford North project.
The development, led by client Stanhope and Principal Contractor Mace, will transform the northern district of Oxford into a vibrant hub of innovation, discovery, and community living. Oxford North is set to become a new destination where people can live, work, and learn, creating a lasting social and economic impact.
Maylim’s scope of work encompasses full design responsibility from RIBA stage 4 onwards. The team will also manage all landscape, civil, structural, and M&E elements of the project. This includes significant bulk earthworks, complex deep drainage systems, and the formation of ponds and linear infrastructure.
The landscape, designed by renowned architects Gustafson Porter + Bowman, will feature a naturalistic central park. The park will comprise mature tree planting, a tiered water feature, and a market square as its focal point. As part of this new and dynamic public space, Maylim will also deliver a two-storey timber cycle pavilion and a striking post-tensioned natural stone bridge.
