Supporting the Local Buyers Club Winter Toy Appeal This Christmas
This Christmas, Maylim is supporting the Local Buyers Club Winter Toy Appeal. The appeal gives new toys at Christmas to children experiencing extreme hardship, ensuring no child goes without a gift.
Each year the toys donated are delivered via a network of baby banks, schools, social workers, children’s centres, migrant centres and anywhere there are children in most need. In 2021 the appeal provided new toys for over 5,000 children in poverty and generated more than £30,000 of trade for local independent shops.
The Local Buyers Club is on a mission to keep London’s communities thriving all year round. They are a shop local club celebrating and supporting small businesses and raising awareness of the advantages of shopping locally.
