Maylim Team Completes Marathon at Shine Night Walk 2024 for Cancer Research

Team Maylim has successfully completed the ultimate challenge of the 2024 Cancer Research Shine Night Walk in London.

Walking the full marathon distance, the team—comprising Amy Flynn, Adele Jackson, Amy Martin, Mairead McLoughlin, Margaret O’Mahony, and Chris Rozanowski—embarked on the overnight journey to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

The Shine Night Walk started and finished at Battersea Park, with participants traversing some of London’s most iconic landmarks. Together, our team passed Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, and St. Paul’s Cathedral, lighting up the city and walking with determination. The team’s efforts have not only been inspiring but also raised an incredible sum of money for cancer research!

Although they have already achieved an impressive amount, the team is still looking to hit (and hopefully exceed) their £10,000 fundraising target!
