One Crown Place

Located on the border of where Shoreditch and the City of London meet, One Crown Place is a mixed-use development that combines both old and new architecture.

Overview

The newly-built towers and renovated Georgian townhouses offer high-end residential apartments, office and retail space, and a boutique hotel and restaurant.

Working for Principal Contractor Mace, Maylim commenced work on the scheme in September 2020. Since completion in May 2021, the landscape has been maintained well and is healthy and flourishing. We are delighted with the final result and high-quality finish achieved.

Maylim’s scope of works spanned across the ground floor courtyard, level 7 residents’ rooftop garden, and smaller pocket roof terraces across the scheme. Our project team’s remit included the installation of granite pedestal paving, raised planters with plants and turf area in the centre, timber and NESO granite benches with LED strip lights beneath, Neso granite water feature, granite stepping stones between planters and in front of the water feature, and spotlights at the entrance to the terrace and across the courtyard.

Mace has been especially delighted with Maylim’s work and our seamless collaboration with other trade contractors on-site and landscape architect LDA Design. Our project and design team worked closely with LDA to develop and create a functional and aesthetically pleasing design for the new residents, who were welcomed in the Summer of 2021.
