City North

City North comprises four unique buildings, each offering an exclusive design and panoramic views across the local area and beyond. Located in the heart of Finsbury Park, the development also incorporates a new entrance to the underground station at ground level.

Across the scheme, there are three communal landscaped roof gardens. The Pavilion is the largest of the three and spans over 2,000m2 providing a stunning outdoor space with views across the capital. The garden features metal planters, play equipment and seating areas. The project team installed composite decking, resin-bound surfacing and artificial grass, offering a range of zones for residents to enjoy. The soft landscaping includes a wide variety of trees, ornamental shrubs, climbers, ferns and herbaceous planting.

Works at ground level were completed on a podium slab and included a significant void former build-up, drainage channels, and the installation of cells below ground for tree planting. Granite planters, steps and kerbs have been used throughout, with a paving scheme featuring three different granite setts. The HVM strategy consisted of both automatic and static PAS bollards. 278 works consisted of carriageway resurfacing, new paving and kerbs.
