Works at Woolgate Exchange Commence

Woolgate Exchange CGI

Maylim is delighted to be the external works contractor for the transformation of Woolgate. Woolgate is a nine-storey building in the City of London reimagined by leading architecture practice Stiff + Trevillion.

The scheme, led by developer Stanhope, aims to modernise the structure while prioritising green initiatives. The project features a 1,500 sqft rooftop pavilion offering views of St Paul’s Cathedral and the iconic City skyline. Over 20,000 sqft of external terrace space promotes biodiversity and urban greening. Enhancements to the public realm include a new pocket park and upgraded street landscaping, contributing to the ‘London Tree Trail’.

Sub-contracted by Mace, Maylim will lead the landscaping works for the public realm and the garden terraces spanning levels 2 – 10. The scope of works ranges from groundwork and drainage to installing natural stone paving, water features, and greening. The project aligns with Maylim’s commitment to environmentally conscious projects, fostering wellbeing through green space.

Maylim will begin work in April 2024, with the project expected to be completed by the end of the year.
