Devonshire Square Courtyard Transformation Complete

Maylim is proud to announce the completion of Devonshire Square Courtyard. Known as one of the City’s ‘hidden gems,’ the estate is just a short walk from Liverpool Street Station. The 5-acre mixed-use campus combines its rich history with modern amenities.

The transformation includes new hospitality offerings such as a hotel, restaurants, and bars. The campus also features office buildings designed for a dynamic work environment in the heart of the city.

The new landscape has been thoughtfully designed by Townshend Landscape Architects to support biodiversity. The green space now provides a home for various floral species, trees, and plants. The landscape prioritises pollinators like butterflies and bees, reflecting a commitment to environmental sustainability. Throughout the summer, the new green space will host events and screenings, including major sporting events.

After successfully completing phase one in 2023, Maylim continued its role as principal contractor. The scope of works included extensive renovations: breaking out existing paving, excavation to reduce levels, installing Yorkstone paving and steps, and adding street furniture, metal planters, ventilation grilles, handrails, lighting, linear slot drainage, and irrigation systems. The soft landscaping completes the project, creating a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere.
