Works In Progress at Wilton Park, Dublin

Wilton Park Dublin - CGI of Completed Scheme

Maylim is delighted to announce its involvement at Wilton Park, IPUT’s landmark development in Dublin. The commencement of this exciting restoration project marks Maylim’s inaugural venture into Ireland’s vibrant city.

Once complete, the scheme will welcome approximately 5,000 people living and working within the 60,000 sq ft development. The new neighbourhood reimagines the area, placing community, culture and sustainability at the forefront.

In addition to office space, Wilton Park will be a hub of activity, offering places to eat, drink, shop and socialise. The project encompasses the creation of a new public square, a series of roof gardens, and the restoration of the one-acre park. Implementing IPUT’s Making Place research and working with principal contractor Sisk and Townshend Landscape Architects, Maylim aims to shape a vibrant and diverse landscape, showcasing excellence in design and placemaking.

Commencing work earlier this year, Maylim is well underway with the programme to lead the transformation of the new landscape. The lawned areas will undergo a renewal process that includes the implementation of improved drainage, enhanced soil quality and re-turfing. The landscape design incorporates various mature shrubs and herbaceous plants, promoting biodiversity and year-round interest. Introducing new seating areas along the reconstructed footpaths provides visitors ample opportunities to relax and enjoy the space.

The completion of Wilton Park is due in Spring 2024.
