Creekside West Greenwich
The Greenwich Creekside development has injected new life and has attracted a vibrant creative community to this previously industrial urban area south of the river.
Overview
We were appointed as main contractor on phase 1 of the two-part project after an open tender bid. We then went on to successfully negotiate phase 2 directly with Telford Homes.
Our remit was to focus on the external works during both phases, including the coordination and development of the detailed design. This involved the creation of granite paving works across the space, integrating concealed bespoke stainless steel slot drainage systems and reinforced concrete granite clad water features.
The scope of works also included lowering the services to create several vehicle crossovers at the back of the development and reinforced concrete granite clad planters around the site. Skateboard studs, cycle racks and stainless steel bollards were all positioned and installed around the site.
Creekside went on to win an HSBC award for build quality and development, both made possible by the seamless delivery of the project.
